Comment:  This is a close up of El Capitan's western rim as viewed from about 4000 ft above. (Its elevation is 7,569 ft and Scott was trying to hold Julie to 11,500 ft at this point in the flight) Later in this album is a picture taken on the return flight of the more conventional southeastern face.
