Comment:  Our aerial sight-seeing trip to Yosemite began at San Carlos Airport (FAA Identifier SQL). The airport is on the west side of San Francisco Bay, about 10 miles south of San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This is a picture of Scott performing a preflight inspection on his airplane, N4261J AKA "Julie". Her name comes from the phonetic alphabet name for the letter "J" (Juliet). She is a Piper Cherokee 140 (PA-28-140) four place single engine light plane.
